Andrew, Prince

of Greece and Denmark (January 20, 1882 i n Athens, died. December 3, 1944 in Monte Carlo) - member GlĂĽcks burgĂłw dynasty, son of King George I of Greece, Greek. Son of Ge orge I the Greek and Konstantinowny Duchess Olga Romanov. In Octo ber 1903 he married Alice of Battenberg, Princess of Greece and Denmark, and great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria, becoming one of the potential heirs of the British throne. In 1917 he left Greece with the exiled brother, King Constantine, four years later he returned and took part in the Greco-Turkish war.
